FEBRUARY SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: ANGEL

Okay, so I can’t believe it’s February already! We are already one month into 2018 and I still have TONS of senior spotlights to share. 🙈

This months senior spotlight is Angel from Lincoln High School. Angel is incredibly smart, sweet natured and seriously well traveled. From pursuing performing arts, constantly reading -part of her session was at the TRF library! – to summer travels, like going to Iceland with her dad last summer! Angel’s future plans are to attend the University of Minnesota Morris and study English.. or Psychology (either she’d be a boss at!) and I’ve recently learned she was awarded the Morris Scholar and Morris Achievement scholarships. I am so proud of all of Angel’s achievements and am incredibly humbled to have photographed her senior portraits.

Some things I loved about Angel’s session:
– She got ready + spent the first half of her session at the library!
– She had some fun balloons to use throughout her session. My car was FILLED with heart balloons it was kind of hilarious.
– We spent the second half of Angel’s session at The Country School which super adorable! It has a pinterest worthy staircase.
Now for a little bit more about Angel’s session from Angel herself:

What are your top 3 tips for senior sessions?
Have fun, talk about what YOU want for your session, and be yourself.

What was your favorite part about your senior session?
That I was really able to be myself, and seeing that come through in the pictures.

Describe your experience with BHP in three words:
FUN, EXCITING & HAPPY

What are your favorite images from your session?

The pictures of me from the greenwood trails.

As you can see below, she definitely shined in the last set of portraits and the amazing backlight from the setting sun was to die for!

I’d just like to say thank your to Angel, and her mom, for being amazing during her senior portrait process. It is a lot of fun when parents are equally excited for this moment in their kids lives. I can’t wait to hear and see what Angel does with the rest of her life, I wish you the best of luck and can’t wait to work with you again in the future.
