Hudson Allen was born on a fairly nice February day in 2018, but his story began years and years ago with his mom and dad’s dream of having a little babe to call their own. I first met Tina and Allen at a 2016 wedding, they’d asked me briefly if I photographed babies too, and I never thought about it until December of 2017 when Tina messaged me about my birth and fresh 48 pricing. They spent years, and years, trying to have this miracle little baby and when their dream finally became a reality, they wanted to document every possible moment.
After being on alert for over a week, highly anticipating Mr. Hudson’s arrival. He decided to be stubborn and put mom through 3 days of labor! Finally he came into the world via c-section into the arms of his loving mom and dad.
Hudson was a chill little dude, just completely okay with every part of the world -till he got hungry- he drifted in and out of sleep, while his mom gazed down at his adorable button nose.
Mom and dad requested images of Hudson with his embryo’s because they wanted to fully document his life from the beginning. My favorite quote is from Tina, which is “we are lucky, we literally got to see him from the very beginning.” which when you think about it, is amazing in itself.
What a dream come true for these parents to get such an adorable little guy to call their own. Here are a few more of my favorite images from their session.
To say that I was completely honored to capture the first few hours of their time as a family of three, and I hope Mr. Hudson knows how loved and cherished he is and has been since the moment he was their parents dream.
