When you meet people who have a wonderful story of love and adventure, but also give you coffee, well that means you have met some wonderful people.
That’s exactly what happened when I met Wendy & Josh.
Their maternity session was scheduled for a Sunday morning in June. We spent the first part of the morning drinking coffee, learning their story and finding out how incredibly loved their little girl already is.
I posted on Facebook for a model call for a lifestyle maternity session, these two jumped at the opportunity. It was really sweet to see their newly remodeled home (that they did themselves!) and I also got to see a Margarita-Ville in real life. It’s as amazing as you could imagine.
Their little girl is pretty lucky to have such awesome parents.
These two obviously love the heck out of each other, and even after 10 years, are still making faces and cracking jokes. It’s truly something to strive for in any marriage.
They also included their dogs Maisy & Mia, who I guess I charmed because they didn’t run away from me all the time. -I’m a dog person, dogs know this-
We focused on working in their living room, nursery and their backyard.
They have done so much work on their home, I was impressed -and sad because I know I can’t hire them to do my house!
Wendy put so much thought into their little ones nursery, including bears and mementos from previous losses. Wendy also incorporated a rocking chair that she refurnished, I’m sure there will be many wonderful moments spent rocking their little one in their yard.
I loved being able to get to know this whole family, and I can’t wait to photograph their little ones newborn session, and to finally help fill their walls with gorgeous images that remind them of how incredibly sweet their lives are with their precious little girl.
