Of all the things my hands have held, the best by far is you.
This was one of my most favorite sessions of 2016, to date! I loved working with Natalie and her parents Cyndi and RJ for their daughters newborn session.
Natalie was such a sweet and easy going newborn, it was just so easy to capture different images that I know this family loves to this day. In fact, this session almost made me become a full-time newborn photographer!
I just couldn’t really see myself focusing on just one area of photography, which is why I am so thrilled that I get to take images of all sorts of things!
I think what truly set this session apart from other is the fact that it was an in-home session. There is such a real level of intimacy that you’re able to capture in your new baby’s nursery that you kind of miss out on in studio.
Not saying I don’t love studio work too… but
The #1 reason I decided to leave my studio behind was that I am just not a studio photographer.
One thing that I truly loved about this session we were able to incorporate the nursery that they worked on for months and months, plus have their dog Tucker in some of the images too.
I love animals, and they do so much better in-home than in a studio setting.. plus there’s a lot less they can break (hopefully)
This session just made me fall further in love with lifestyle newborn photography, and I am just so excited that this is the only version of newborn photography that I offer.
