I love snow! There I’ve said it. I love when it falls, I love when my dogs play in it, and I even love freezing my toes off to shoot in it. That’s exactly what I did two years ago when I worked with Maggie + Brandon for their wintery engagement session.
Similar to the weather going on currently, it was a warm and lightly windy day. The trees were flocked with frost and these two showed up madly in love and ready for an amazing day! These two wanted to do a mix between dressy and casual which worked perfectly for the location. They also brought their pup, Callie, who as you can see was a ham the whole time.
See, Callie’s just PERFECT!
After finishing up the first half of their session we decided to trek a little further onto the farm yard we where the session was. Just a little tid-bit, the people in the Midwest are absolutely lovely! Maggie knew the land owner who allowed us to shoot, even helping us tie up Brandon to a tractor. This isn’t something I’m used to being from Phoenix, but it is one the reasons I love the Midwest area.
I mean, just look at these to *insert heart eyes* I cannot get over how perfect these two are!
As you can see this session really just had all the perfect elements, plus these two were down to kiss as many times as I asked and Maggie’s infectious smile really just made the whole session the best. Between kissing, laughing, and Maggie getting excited about all the farm animals.
Now obviously, you guys are overly excited about the last picture. YES we tied Brandon up to a tractor, and this was actually HIS idea! Brandon, being the avid hunter, wanted to just end the session on a funny note. Which he did, and it is probably the funniest shot I’ve taken to this day!
